Kiddies Meal Combo 3 - Tricolor Sandwich & Peas Pulao with wgg curry or curd salad

Tips for lunch box:
1. Make rice in the cooker the previous night but do not open the cooker.
2. Puree the tomatoes the previous night and keep in fridge.
3. Par boil the peas the previous night and keep in fridge.
4. Keep mint chutney and the orange chutney ready in fridge.




All measurements are for one child.

1. Tricolor Sandwich

Ingredients :
Bread - 2 slices
2 types of chutney - Green color - Mint Chutney
Orange color- Onion/garlic/Mango chutney
Cheese - 1 slice
Method :
Apply mint chutney on one side of a bread slice.
Apply orange chutney on one side of the 2nd bread slice.
Keep cheese in between and cut into triangle shape to make 2 sandwiches.

2. Peas Pulao
Ingredients :
White rice/Basmati boiled with a pinch of salt- 1 cup
Peas - 2 tbsp
Cumin whole - 1/2 tsp
Ghee - 1 tsp
Method :
Take a pan, add ghee, when slightly hot, add cumin and peas, and fry well and add rice.
Mix well.
Egg Curry ( Quick egg curry for kids - tomato base)
Ingredients :
Boiled egg - 1 or 2
Tomato puree of 1 or 2 tomatoes
Onion - 1/2 chopped finely
Garam masala - 1 pinch
Chilli powder - 1 pinch
Oil - 1 tsp
Method :
Take a pan, put oil, fry onions till golden, then add the garam masala and chilli powder and immediately add the tomato puree. Bring to boil , add the boiled eggs and simmer for 2 mins.
Egg curry is ready.
