This dish "Kadgi Chakko" or Raw Jackfruit dry curry or "Jackfruit Sukka" is one of my favourite gadgi dishes.
My mom is an expert in this, but somehow over the years I have managed to prepare this dish after learning from her.

Method :
Cut the jackfruit into big pieces with a sharp knife, then remove the skin, wash and boil in cooker for about 10 mins.
Roast red chillies, coriander seeds and urad dal.
Grind the roasted ingredients with coconut and 1 cup water to form a smooth paste.
Now lightly crush the boiled jackfruit as shown.
Take a heavy bottom pan, add oil, when hot add the mustard seeds.
When the mustard seeds start cracking, add curry leaves and Asofoetida.
