A non-spicy crab curry "Kurle Ambat" for those who found the "Mangalore style Chilli based Crab curry" spicy.
Coconut - 1 cup
Dry red chilli - 1
Tamarind - 1 inch piece
Onion - 1 large -chopped finely
Oil - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Grind the coconut, red chilly and tamarind along with 1 cup water to form a smooth paste.
Take a heavy bottomed pan, pour the paste in it along with the washed and cleaned crabs and bring to boil.
Now take a seasoning pan, add oil and fry the onions till golden and pour on the boiling crab curry.
"Kurle Ambat" is ready.
Serve with steaming white rice.
