Variation 1 : Using Parboiled rice
Variation 2 : Use rice semolina or Idli Rawa

Tomato Phanna Upkari (All purpose Tomato curry)
This tomato curry called "Tomate Phanna Upkari" in konkani is one of the easiest curries to make.
I call it all purpose since it goes well with almost anything...Indian breads like Phulkas/Chapatis/Rotis, Dosa, Idli and Indian noodles like Shavige/Idiappam and even Rice.
A traditional konkani dish, but still not very popular among all konkanis. This is a traditional dish mostly cooked in my maternal family.
