Ginger and Green Chilly Chutney

Here is a simple Chutney that goes well with all kinds of south Indian breakfast dishes like Idli, Dosa and also also snacks like Vadas, Upma and other fritters.





Ingredients:
Coconut - Fresh/desiccated - 1 cup
Green chillies - 2
Ginger - 1 inch piece
Salt - 1 tsp
Method:
Grind all the above ingredients to a semi smooth paste.
Serve as accompaniment to Idlis, Dosas, Vadas and fritters.
Optionally you could season with mustard seeds and curry leaves.
