Bolanjeer or Silver Fish Naked Fry

"Bolanjeer Naked fry" is one of the most popular starter served in all coastal sea food restaurants.
Its very simple to make and can be eaten as a starter to a meal as well as a snack.
In the below recipe I have given the measures for just 20 fish and have skipped how many people it can be served to, simply because these tiny fish are so irresistibly delicious, I could eat all 20 of them in one go. So its upto you to decide how many fish you would like to fry.
However a small bit of information I would like to provide which could be helpful - buying 1 kg of this fish could get you around a 100-120 of them.
Ingredients:
Bolanjeer or Silver fish - 20
Rice flour - 2 tbsp
Red chilly powder - 2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Lemon juice - 2 tsp
Oil for frying

Method:
Wash and clean the fish and drain out all water content.
Now make a thick paste of rice flour, red chilly powder, salt and lemon juice.
Apply this paste to the fish and allow to marinate for atleast 30 minutes by keeping in the refrigerator.
Now for frying -
Take a deep frying pan, keep on medium heat, add oil and allow the oil to get really hot.
Deep fry the fish in 3-4 batches till golden and crispy.
Serve with lemon and any salad vegetable of your choice.
