Another famous Indian Street food is the "Bread Pakoda".
You will find this snack in almost all snack bars, food joints and road side shacks in Mumbai and Delhi.
Simple to make and yummy too..!!
I would call it comfort food or food for indulgence as it involves deep frying, but once in awhile its allowed...
Isn't it ?

Method:
Take a heavy bottomed pan, add 1 tsp oil, keep on low heat, fry green chilies and garlic for 30 seconds.
Now add the potato, turmeric powder, salt, mint and coriander leaves.
Mix well. Allow to cool.
Now make a batter of dosa batter consistency, using water, besan, hing, salt and red chilly powder.

Now cut each slice of bread into 4 triangles, keep the potato stuffing between 2 triangles and press together to make a sandwich.

Now dip the stuffed sandwich into the batter, to coat it evenly and deep fry till golden.
Drain well on absorbent paper.
