Wheat Laddoos or "Churmundo" in Konkani

Here is a simple and easy to make "laddoo" made from Wheat and and very popularly known as "Churmundo".
I have made this specially for my brother today since its "Raksha Bandhan".
This laddoo is easy to make, needs the ingredients that are always in your kitchen, so you can make them at any time.

Makes 25 laddoos
Ingredients:
Ghee - 1/2 cup
Sugar - 1 cup - powered
Wheat or Atta -  2 cups
Green cardamom powder - 1 tsp
Cashewnuts - roasted and crushed (Optional)

Method:
Take a large heavy bottomed pan, keep on low heat, add the ghee and when its slightly hot add the wheat and fry the wheat by mixing it well with the ghee for about 5-10 minutes till the wheat gives out a nice ghee infused aroma. Now switch off the heat and add the sugar powder and cardamom powder and mix well. You could mix in the crushed cashewnuts at this stage. Allow to cool.
Now grease your palms with little ghee and take a handful of the mixture in the pan and shape into laddoos.
These laddoos can be stored in an air tight container for atleast 10-15 days.
Of course the question of storing comes only when you can resist from not finishing all of them in 1-2 days like us!
